Don’t forget to sign up for the Trash Bash coming up March 28. It is not too late and the more volunteers the better. Let’s clean up our waterways. Once a year, thousands of volunteers gather along the Texas waterways to do their part in cleaning up the environment by participating in the largest single day waterway cleanup in the state of Texas, the River, Lakes, Bays ‘N Bayous Trash Bash®. This year the event is March 28 at 15 different locations on the Gulf Coast. The half-day event begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. Check the start time, registration and end time for the location you sign up for as they may be slightly different.
To get started, pick a cleanup site near you. Volunteers receive free lunch, entertainment, door prizes and T-shirts.
