The Buffalo Bayou kayak tour is a fantastic way to view downtown Houston. The tour is roughly 1-1.5 hours. You will get to see first hand the amazing transformation taking place on Buffalo Bayou as you navigate through the beautiful scenery and landscapes. Highlights of this tour are Allen’s Landing, the Waugh Bridge Bat Colony, Eleanor Tinsley Park, and of course the towering skyline of downtown Houston. Make sure you bring your camera as these are views few people get to see. The Buffalo Bayou park Kayak Tour starts at Lost Lake at finishes at the Sunset Coffee building next to Allen’s Landing. Upon completion of the tour a shuttle will return you back to Lost Lake if needed. This tour is great for beginners and first time kayakers.
